Production process

From raw hide to finished product: 8 stages

Every stage is accompanied by in-house laboratory control. The batch number is retained throughout the process.

Intake and curing

Sorting of raw hides, acceptance by weight and quality.

Soaking and liming

Unhairing, swelling of the hide and opening of the fibre structure.

Fleshing

Mechanical cleaning and initial thickness preparation.

04

Pickling and chrome tanning

Tanning with chrome salts, producing wet blue semi-finished leather.

05

Splitting and shaving

Precise substance adjustment to the customer's required thickness.

06

Retanning, dyeing, fatliquoring

Building the colour, softness and fullness characteristics.

07

Drying and crust

Vacuum and hang drying. Leather can be exported as crust at this stage.

08

Finishing and final inspection

Finishing, ironing, measuring, grading and packing.

Leather finishes

The finishes we produce

All finishes are produced to the customer's colour card and specification. The substance ranges shown are standard and can be adjusted on request.

Nappa

Full-grain, soft and supple leather. The natural pore pattern is preserved.

Nubuck

Lightly buffed grain with a velvety nap. Matt and breathable surface.

Pull-up

Oil and wax loaded. Lightens when flexed and develops a patina with wear.

Patent

Lacquered, high-gloss surface. For parade and formal footwear.

Floater

Full-bodied with a pronounced grain. Holds its shape in classic footwear.

Suede

Raised, velvety nap. Soft handle and a matt appearance.

Antique / Burnished

Two-tone effect with darkened edges. Gives a hand-finished look.

Aniline

Finished with transparent dye. Natural pores and colour depth remain fully visible.

Crazy Horse

Wax loaded, marks on scratching. Vintage character and high durability.

Buffalo

Large, raised grain with high tear resistance. For heavy-duty use.

Hydrophobic boot leather

Water-repellent treatment, matt surface. The core article for duty and field boots.

Belt leather

Dense structure that holds its form. For duty and civilian belts.

Lining leather

Thin and breathable. For the inner lining of footwear.

Split

Available as suede or coated. For the value segment and accessories.

Certificates, laboratory control and standards

Every batch is tested during production and before shipment. Independent laboratory reports are provided on customer request.
